Private rental terms

1. Nature of the booking

Website submissions are requests, not confirmed reservations. TESLOVE LLC reviews availability, driver eligibility, and dates before accepting. Payment and security-deposit holds (when live) are separate from this Phase 1 request flow.

2. Security deposit

A refundable security deposit is required before keys are released. Amount and hold method are confirmed in writing for your dates. The deposit is returned after a clean return inspection, less documented damage or missing equipment chargeable under these terms.

3. Condition documentation

Pickup and return are documented with timestamped photos (exterior, interior, wheels, glass, charge port, and odometer). Both parties should retain copies. Charges for damage are limited to issues that appear on return documentation and were not present at pickup — not vague “per scratch” fees without evidence.

4. Use of the vehicle

The renter must hold a valid driver’s license and meet any age / insurance requirements TESLOVE states in writing. No subletting, rideshare commercial use, racing, or off-road abuse. Smoking in the cabin is not allowed. Pets only if agreed in writing before pickup.

5. FSD & Autopilot

Placeholder — finalize before first paid rental. Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and Autopilot features, when enabled on the vehicle, remain driver-supervised systems. The renter is responsible for attentive control at all times. TESLOVE does not warrant uninterrupted feature availability; Tesla software updates may change behavior.

6. Supercharging & charging

Placeholder — finalize per vehicle. Where the listing states free Supercharging, that perk rides with the car for the rental term under Tesla’s then-current account rules. Pay-as-you-go charging, home charging equipment, and destination chargers are the renter’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed. Return the vehicle at or above the agreed state of charge (default: ≥50% unless stated otherwise).

7. Late return

Return on the agreed date and time at the WeHo pickup location. Late returns without prior written approval may incur a daily extension fee and may affect the next guest’s schedule. Communicate early if you need an extension — we prefer a clean amendment over a surprise delay.

8. Pickup location

Pickup and return are in West Hollywood (WeHo). The exact street address is shared only after TESLOVE accepts your request — it is not published on the public site.
